Une exposition d’arts vidéo et numérique du 13 au 27 décembre 2008 au Vigan (30120).
Cet événement regroupe 15 artistes internationaux qui mettent en exergue différents protocoles de visionnage et constitution de l’image, du récit et de la matérialité du support.

Déployée en deux lieux historiques de la ville, le bâtiment de l’ancien tribunal, aujourd’hui l’Espace Lucie Aubrac et la chapelle de l’Hôpital, cette exposition a pour point de départ un postulat : tout support d’une image est un écran, avec toute l’ambiguité que renferme ce terme, désignant ce qui masque et révèle à la fois.

A digital and video art exhibition starting the 13th december to the 27th december 2008, Le Vigan (30120), France.
This event gathers 15 international artists who highlight the different viewing and constitution protocols of image, narration and materiality of the support.

Displayed in two historical places, the former tribunal today the Espace Lucie Aubrac, and the hospital’s chapel, this exhibition is based on the postulate : every support of an image is a screen, along the ambiguity within this term which assigns what hide and unveil at once.
